Dentist Approved Teeth Bleaching

Professional teeth whitening is a great way to quickly improve the appearance of your smile. We have patients visit us often to brighten their smile for special events or just to keep their look fresh and attractive.

Whether you have a wedding to go to or a job interview, come see us! Not only can we safely whiten your teeth, but coming to our office allows us to monitor the whitening process. This helps us provide a safe, comfortable and reliable teeth whitening experience for you.

Teeth Whitening for Special Occasions

We often have patients visit us for teeth whitenings when they are preparing for something big in their life. Weddings, first dates, job interviews, big speeches or performances, and more. Great looks and an improved self-esteem can go a long way to make a great impression.

The Teeth Whitening Process

To start with, it is good to note that professional teeth whitening cannot help when it comes to fillings, caps, crowns, or dentures. This procedure only works on natural teeth.

At Elite Dental Wellness, we offer in-office teeth whitening. It allows us to guide the whitening process and maximize the results so you can have the brightest smile possible.

Common teeth whitening options include: professional bleaching (uses carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide), use of at-home teeth whitening kits, laser whitening, whitening toothpaste, and veneers (more permanent solution). Dental Veneers are beautiful!

If you have any questions about the Teeth Bleaching process, feel free to call us at (713) 960-4090.

Due to the different kinds of food we eat, as well as the many different substances we drink or take by mouth, our teeth get stained. Some of these substances include tea, coffee, soda and wine (especially red wine). Smoking also tends to turn teeth yellow. With age, your teeth also get darker.

Tooth decay or disease also changes the color of the teeth. This is mainly due to the minute fractures that form in the teeth, as well as the use of antibiotics and other medicine.

When teeth are whitened, the effect may last up to three years. However, you should avoid taking any of the substances that can potentially stain your teeth where possible. The use of whitening toothpaste is also advised to supplement the teeth whitening process.

Note that the whitening process may also have some side effects, including increased sensitivity to cold, uncomfortable gums, and a possible sore throat. However, these effects tend to disappear a few days after treatment.
